Ø A 5-day collection program[8-13th March]=6984Rs.
Ø A total of 983 students contributed generously for the noble cause.
Ø MISSION’S ACTIVITIES :-
1. A survey on CHILD LITERACY in TC Palya,Bangalore --
- An extensive 2-day survey by Team Mission 5 on
11-02-2007 and 18-03-2007, together with
Shishu Mandir, found 20 children in and around
TC Palya unable to go to school, due to poverty.
- The Mission aims at admitting these 20 children,
plus 5 children of Jivithanatha Ashram into
St.Antony School,Bosconagar, in the coming
academic session.

- The cost of education for a child per annum at primary
level is Rs.1500. This sum includes the expenses of
3 sets of uniform [with shoes], bag, books and
stationery items.

- The Mission has thus come up with an idea-
“3 help 1 Child”
-where 3 willing students will donate Rs.50 each
per month for 10 calendar months to

2. The Mission donated 2000 Braille Sheets

the orphans of Jivithanatha Ashram [19-03-2007]
and bought all prescribed medicines along with
a First-Aid Kit [bandages,ointmnt,tincture phials].

the road for 4 yrs, at Bhattarahalli, was helped by

Ø The Mission is soon planning to conduct English classes on Saturdays, for
the children of St. Antony School,Bosconagar and poor children of
TC Palya, run by the students-team.
