1. “MISSION 5” COMPLETES THREE YEARS [FEB 02, 2007 - 2010] :-
• “MISSION 5” completes 3 yrs of service to the disabled & deprived by raising Rs 5/-.
• A mission that started with supporting an orphanage in 2007, has extended its wings to support 2 orphanages, 2 elderly homes, a school for the underprivileged, a school for the visually challenged and ‘3 HELP 1 CHILD’ - our flagship project, sending 20 underprivileged children to school, to imbibe the ‘light of education’.
• The annual day celebrations saw the release of Mission’s letter pad, visiting card, envelope while donating a towel to each of the 21 kids at K.A.M.M.S. [02/02/2010]
2. ESSENTIALS TO AN ORPHANAGE :-
• Donated essentials like cooking oil – 2 litres, bathing soap – 4 bars, washing powder – 2kg to Kannada Adarsha Mahila Makkala Samsthe. [07/02/2010]
• Donated stationery [notebooks, pencil/ball pen] among all 21 kids. [21/02/2010]
• Celebrated birthday of Wani, Annapoorna and Benny, kids at the orphanage.
• Organized a monthly medical check-up for 21 children at the orphanage.
3. 4 LITRES MILK EVERYDAY TO TWO ORPHANAGES :-
• As part of AHAR project, ‘MISSION 5’ provides 4 litres of milk and fruits everyday to two orphanages, Jeevitha Anathashrama & Kannada A.M. Makkala Samsthe.
4. PRAYAS – POT PAINTING PROGRAM :-
• Conducted a pot painting program among kids at Kannada A. M. Makkala Samsthe on Valentine’s Day, as part of our co-curricular development project - PRAYAS.
5. Donated fruits to Shree Shirdi Vrudhashram & Home for Mentally Retarded, KIthigannur, on two occasions. [13th & 27th Feb 2010]
