Jab MISSION5 met CNN IBN

Just click on the title above to Watch the CNN IBN video of Mission5:-

22 Jan 2008, a day that marked
the completion of 355 days of MISSION 5,
CNN IBN, an English News Channel,
approached us to help our service to the needy
be known to the entire nation
and help inspire others
to begin a similar campaign in their college..

The day-long shooting came to an end at around 5PM
after which we had a small discussion.
All had one thing in common to say;
the crew's social concern was noticeably higher than professional.

We decided to do something special with the
contribution that the crew made to Mission5.
Here is the report -

- we offered fruits and sweets for the children of an orphanage,
Kannada Adarsha Mahila Sanstha, Parvati Nagar, Bangalore-49,
on the occasion of Republic Day, i.e. 26 Jan 2008.

- we also donated notebooks and slates to the these children on 27 Jan 2008.

- to an Old-Age Home, Sree Sai Vrudhashram & Mentally Retarded,
at KR Puram ,Bangalore-49,with 8 elderly members,
we donated 10-kg rice..
