On Jan 10, 2010, as part of a new project, PRAYAS - to encourage co-curricular activities among children, Mission5 conducted the first 'SPORTS DAY' programme for kids at an orphanage, Kannada Adarsha Mahila Makkala Samsthe.
A total of 21 kids were divided into 2 groups - Tom & Jerry. The event comprised of a host of races like - 100m race, spoon-lemon race, 3-legged race, banana-jalebi race, sack hopping race etc.
Winners of each event were given certificates and two best performers, one from each group, were awarded medals.
