The 2nd edition of the annual blood donation camp organised by
Team MISSION 5 at SFS College, in association with Vijayanagar Blood Bank, on March 13, 2010, was a great success.
A total 84 volunteers participated in the one-day event, contributing 84 units of blood, more than double the previous year's collection of 40 units of blood.
We also organised a photo exhibition "DRISHTI - 2", alongside the blood donation camp, commemorating the completion of 3 years of MISSION 5. A total of 60 photographs, a journey of activities conducted in the last 3 years, were displayed.
Donors were given a certificate; a paper bag made by MISSION 5 (with a message - Say NO to Plastic), and a pamphlet highlighting the major activities of the students' initiative in 3 years.
