Jab Mission5 met NEWS 9
On March 21, 2009, the day MISSION 5 – a students' initiative, completed a little more than two years of service to the needy, NEWS 9 – an English news channel, came to cover the major activities of the students' group.
The event, commemorating the two-year completion of the initiative, was a shot in the arm to all the student volunteers, to work with more energy and dedication towards achieving the goals of the initiative.
The day began with shooting of 23 children studying under Mission5's educational project '3 Help 1 Child'. Then the crew and the core group of M5 visited Sri Krupa Vrudhashram at K R Puram and donated fruits to the elderly members.
A total of 20 student volunteers participated in the event, most of them wearing printed t-shirts of MISSION 5.
The shooting ended at around 6pm, with the reporter reciprocating exactly the punchline of our drive – YOUTH IS A GREAT FORCE!
